Originally from Haiti, Sony Ton-Aime will discuss his journey as a literary translator, writing in Haitian Creole, French, and English. He is the author of the chapbook, LaWomann, and a forthcoming Haitian Creole translation of the book, Olympic Hero: The Story of Lennox Kilgour. Ton-Aime graduated from Kent State University with an MFA in poetry writing and now serves as the Director of Literary Arts at Chatauqua Institution.Join the Webex here Oct. 27!
