Pranayama - Monthly Guidance & Practice with Diane Speer
This will be held in the Lotus Room at Yoga Central. Prānāyāma, the practice of yogic breathing techniques, consciously controls the flow of breath and enhances the flow of energy in the body. A regular, balanced prānāyāma practice increases prāna (life energy), thereby inviting greater mental clarity, heightened healing potential and deeper self-understanding. Prānāyāma, like other yogic practices, is about being more fully alive and well, and is a particularly helpful in the preparation for meditation. These monthly classes will provide instruction and practice of prānāyāma techniques that you can integrate into your current yoga practice and daily healthy lifestyle activity.
