Clams For Conservation:Lake SWCD's Annual Meeting, Election and Celebration
Clams for Conservation is Lake SWCD's Annual Meeting, Board of Supervisor Election and celebration of our region's past and our future conservation efforts! Clams for Conservation is a traditional Connecticut Western Reserve Clambake held at the beautiful Painesville Township Park on the Lake Erie shore. Dinner will include a 1/2 chicken, a dozen clams, local sweet corn and a sweet potato. Beverages are sponsored and provided by Ohio Wine Producers from local wineries and craft breweries. While anyone can attend Clams for Conservation, Lake County residents are invited to guide conservation efforts in the county by voting in the special election. A ticket is not required to vote.
